Dying

It hurts, alot.
Dying.
they don't want to tell you that, it's like this big secret
'The pain will be gone soon'
All those I’ve seen die, the most common expression is pain.
and when it's you? The pain is overwhelming, and that is all you can think of.
Oh yes, there's a brief moment where you think of what you could have done to not die
And then it's gone.


Reviving hurts too
Everything's gone
I never know how long I'm gone...others say it's usually minutes
That first indrawn breath is the worst,
and it all comes flooding back, the pain,
the memories, the feeling.
